Pakistan's cotton prices fell by 31%, and textile companies benefited.

According to analysts, the fall in cotton prices in the international market has led to a decline in domestic cotton prices in Pakistan.

In the past few months, international cotton prices fell by 34%.

At the same time, due to the slowdown and recession of the world economy, the demand for textile products in Pakistan will be reduced, which will eventually lead to a decline in domestic commodity prices.

The gross profit of textile industry may be very high in 2009 because of the sharp depreciation of rupee and the decline of cotton prices.

      分析人士说,巴基斯坦纺织工业面对更大的金融挑战,电力和天然气短缺,许多小纺织工厂将因此倒闭。此次危机导致本国工厂棉花消费量大幅下降。

Similarly, the global economic slowdown, the international cotton prices also dropped by 34%.

In the 2009 fiscal year -10 month July, textile exports in Pakistan dropped by 1%, but the rupee depreciation was conducive to the export of the textile industry. According to the rupee, exports increased by 24%.

Because of the economic recession around the world, the pressure on cotton export prices will not ease.

A representative of the Pakistan cotton merchants association said that Pakistan trading company acquired processed cotton according to 2900 rupees (36.77 US dollars) -3200 rupee (37.34 kilograms).

The textile mill buys three grade cotton that can be exported at a rate of 3200 rupees (37.34 kilograms).

As of December 15th, the textile factory bought 9 million bales of cotton, compared with the same period last year, purchasing more than 8 million 500 thousand packages of 500 thousand bales.

In the 2009 fiscal year, the total output of cotton is expected to be 12 million packs, compared to 11 million 500 thousand bales in the previous year.
